In ancient Japan,there were rites of passage for young people when they became adults.
Today,those who are turning 20 are recognised as adults.
They wear crested kimono and hakama,or dresses,
and attend coming-of-age ceremonies held by municipalities on the second Monday of January.
The day is designated as a national holiday,Coming-of-age Day.

”おとなになる”意味のか分からないまま、
着物を着て、皆で騒いだ遠い記憶があります。
2015年の今年、1月12日が成人の日ですね。
成人式はただの式典。
大人になる自覚などまだまだず～～～っと先の話です。
たくさん遊んで、たくさん失敗をし、たくさん想い出を作ってください。

成人される皆さん、まずはおめでとう。
